About the project
The company began in 2011 with the solo NUDO, presented at Conde Duque and TAC, and selected as a finalist at the 3º Microdanza Competition, earning a scholarship at CSDMA. It participated in Gracias x Favor, Miradas al Cuerpo, and other dance cycles such as Ártico and Secret Sundance. The next piece, SALIDA DE EMERGENCIA, was programmed at Miradas al Cuerpo, TAC, and selected for the 29th Choreographic Competition of Madrid, receiving the Tanzhaus Zürich artistic residency award. In 2016, the company received the “Grant for individuals for the creation and development of performing arts” from the Comunidad de Madrid to create GLITTER, developed at Tanzhaus Zürich and Pradillo, and premiered at Surge Madrid 2019. In 2020, PIEL was created and presented at Surge, Mover Madrid, and CICUS in Seville. CASA//PIEL emerged from a residency in Lugo (Atopémonos Bailando), as a site-specific installation exploring liminality. Recent creations include CENTRO DE GIRO, LAS DORADAS, and SOLASTALGIA.
Our story
Creator, performer, and educator. She studied at the Liceo Italiano Enrico Fermi and holds a degree in Psychology from the UAM. She began her dance training in 2009 at Carmen Senra and continued at the “Professional Dance Master SEEDS” with Cobosmika Company in Girona, later developing her career as a freelance artist. She has worked with Thomas Noone, Jorge Jauregui, Roberto Oliván, Peter Mika, and companies such as Tejido Conectivo, Laminima, Laimperfecta, Chevi Muraday, Alba Lorca, Ainhoa H. Escudero, Ana Erdozain, and Daniel Abreu with VAV (currently on tour). She collaborates with inclusive dance companies such as Colectivo Lisarco, Raquel Sánchez, and Chefa Alonso. She works as a movement assistant in projects with El Pont Flotant, M.A.R (Andrea Díaz Reboredo), and Producciones Nau. She has collaborated with Antonio Ruz for the series Camilo Superstar, Sadeck Waff for the Dom Pérignon event, and Iker Karrera for the film Voy a pasármelo mejor.
